Had a few requests for this one, so I thought I would share. I'm also working on one that incorporates actual camera moves... We'll see.

I just watched it awesome and just bought the designer sfx dvds!!! Strange thing is I just did a time freeze effect yesterday for practice just to see if I could do it. I figured it out my self to my amazement. Yours is a lot cooler than mine was just a person throwing a shoe in the air freezing it in the air and the person reacting to it being frozen in mid air.

Ohhhh... GOOD ONE!
I can think of a thousand ways to work with this one, and even make it sort of an "experiment" and play around with it.
Thank you, my friend.

Andrew, I love all of your tutorials, and I have ordered, serious effects, action movie essentials, riot gear, and next is designer sound fx, keep up all the great tutorials and products. I also had a suggestion, I think a mailing list would be a great thing that would update everyone when you have new products and tutorials.
Thanks,
Harry

Well thanks! I must say it is nice to do this more frequently. I really appreciate all of the support from everyone. I have some very cool things coming down the pipe and I'm glad some are using the RSS, we're looking to really inject that into the site. I have a new tutorial coming out tomorrow. (twice in the once week!) It's a part 2 following the 3d Camera Projection. I also did a mini tutorial on the Vanishing point feature of AE CS3 to contrast the methods.
Cheers,
Andrew Kramer

Andrew, I've started learning AE, your online video tutorials have been extremly helpful.
I have just one question, regarding faking shadows, when I composit say an actor shot on greenscreen (with tracking markers) that is matchmoved and then the 3d set is produced, the problem I have is there is no shadows cast by the actor onto the 3d set, this has been troubling me and I have zero clue how it could be done in post. Any recommendations?
Thanks in advanced

The Gun Blow Back one was very good.
Yes, and so simple procedure to get such a realistic effect. Kramer's tutorials will make my movies a lot better.
Unlike other tutorials from, Lynda - Total Training etc., Kramers tutorials is more direct helpful to moviemakers. Other tutorials don't give any direct effects that will be ready to add to the final product.
