Hey, I put a lot of effort into this, but it's 90% done and thought I'd post pics of my newest adapter. I'll be using a Light Shaping Screen with better optics and casing. Also a plus is I can change the Focus Screen to whatever I want. And interchangeable mounts. A lot bigger screen to focus on, better vibration and altogether better adapter. Once I have it finished I'll be posting a lot of video.

Were you eventually able to reduce the grain completely with the vibration unit? I've been working on a similar adapter with a light shaping screen from an old apple Powerbook LCD screen. It's ok for testing but I need to get a new vibration motor because I broke mine somehow.
I've also been looking for other decent light shaping screens. I think the best screens would be ones designed for small high resolution LCDs with a high level of brightness. Now... where to find them?

Chris,
Seeing how I haven't taken video with it yet, but, with the new Vibrating unit with a different motor, I had someone test it on their design and it was 100%grain free. The best screen I've found so far are from two different types of cell phones. One screen is very very bright, but bad on the bokeh and no grain with small vibration, other screen is bright as well, just not as bright and great on the bokeh.
Audiovox 8900(Good screen, almost 0 light loss, bad bokeh and no grain)
Motorola V551(best screen IMO)
I'll test both when I get it going.
